Illinois hospital names interim CEO

Tamar Kutz was appointed interim president and CEO of Decatur (Ill.) Memorial Hospital, effective May 25, according to a hospital news release shared with Becker’s.

Ms. Kutz has spent the last six years serving as vice president of quality and operations at the hospital, which affiliated with Springfield, Ill.-based Memorial Health in 2019.

In her interim CEO role, she temporarily replaces Drew Early, who was appointed senior vice president and COO of Memorial Health.

Memorial Health is a community-based, nonprofit corporation with approximately 10,000 employees.
