Springfield, Ill.-based Memorial Health has named Drew Early to serve as its inaugural COO.
As COO, Mr. Early will work closely with the health system’s president and CEO, Mandy Eaton, to ensure alignment across system operations and hospital services, according to a May 9 news release.
Mr. Early has served in several administrative roles since joining Memorial Health in 2006. He is currently the CEO of Decatur (Ill.) Memorial Hospital and will continue leading the facility until a new CEO is named.
Memorial Health is a five-hospital system with nearly 10,000 employees.
