Illinois hospital names CEO

Hamilton Memorial Hospital District in McLeansboro, Ill., has appointed Justin Epperson CEO, effective Sept. 1.

Mr. Epperson had served as interim CEO since July, following the departure of Victoria Woodrow, who led the organization for 10 years, according to a Sept. 2 hospital district news release. He joined the organization in 2018 as CFO and previously spent 16 years as a financial analyst at SSM Health in Mt. Vernon, Ill.

He brings more than 20 years of healthcare finance and leadership experience to the role. During his tenure as CFO, he developed a long-term financial plan, improved departmental communication and oversaw modernization efforts across the organization.
