Idaho hospital taps CEO

West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, Idaho, has named Travis Leach its next CEO.

Mr. Leach has more than 27 years of leadership and clinical experience, according to a news release from the hospital. He most recently served as president of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa, Idaho. West Valley and Saint Alphonsus share the parent organization HCA Healthcare, based in Nashville, Tenn. 

He succeeds Betsy Hunsicker, who helmed West Valley Medical Center for nine years before accepting the top role at its sister facility, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
