HSHS St. Vincent Hospital appoints new chief nursing officer: 3 points

HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wis., hired Ken Nelson III, DNP, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.

1. Mr. Nelson joins HSHS St. Vincent after serving as administrative director of medical and surgical services at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wis.

2. He also previously worked at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, serving in a number of roles, such as nursing supervisor.

3. He holds a doctorate in nursing practice from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
