Becker’s Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

1. Houston-based Park Plaza Hospital, part of Houston-based HCA Gulf Coast Division, named Peyton Elliott CEO, effective Dec. 26.

2. Bob Bonar, CEO of Minneapolis-based Children’s Minnesota is retiring, effective Dec. 8.

3. West Burlington, Iowa-based Great River Health Systems tapped Matthew Wenzel to serve as president and CEO, effective Jan. 2, 2018.

4. Jennie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow, Neb., selected Veronica Schmidt to serve as CEO, effective Jan. 15, 2018.

5. St. Bernard Parish Hospital in Chalmette, La., named Kimberly Keene, RN, CEO.

6. Brentwood, Tenn.-based RCCH HealthCare Partners appointed Larry Rodgers CEO of Southwestern Medical Center in Lawton, Okla.

7. Jon D. Braband, president and CEO of Glencoe (Minn.) Regional Health Services, is retiring in July 2018.
