Alexis Mussi has been appointed CEO of MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
Ms. Mussi most recently served as CEO of Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, also part of HCA’s Far West Division, according to a Nov. 10 news release shared with Becker’s. She joined HCA Healthcare in 2008 and previously held leadership roles at Sunrise Children’s Hospital and MountainView Hospital.
During her tenure at Southern Hills, she led the hospital’s expansion from 134 to 331 beds and secured $110.7 million in capital investments. Projects under her oversight included the development of the state’s first freestanding emergency room and two new inpatient floors.
MountainView Hospital is part of the Sunrise Health System, which includes four hospitals and six freestanding emergency rooms.
