Harrisburg Medical Center taps new CEO: 5 things to know

Harrisburg (Ill.) Medical Center named Donald H. Hutson CEO, according to a Harrisburg Register report.

Here are five things to know:

1. Most recently, Mr. Hutson served as CEO of University of Mississippi Medical Center Grenada and University of Mississippi Medical Center Holmes County in Lexington.

2. His prior experience includes serving as CEO of Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, Tenn., and later, CEO of Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Miss.

3. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps for 21 years, retiring as a lieutenant colonel.

4. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

5. Mr. Hutson holds an MBA from Baylor University in Waco.
