Cincinnati Children’s selects chief HR officer

Cincinnati Children’s appointed Nerissa E. Morris senior vice president and chief human resources officer, effective April 30.

Most recently, Ms. Morris served as the vice president of human resources at the University of Miami. She previously worked at Ford Motor Co. During her 22-year tenure at Ford, she held HR positions serving various Ford business units, including the Leadership Development Center and Volvo Car Corporation Research and Development

Ms. Morris served on the board of the American Red Cross of Greater Miami and the Keys as well as The College & University Professional Association for Human Resources. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Ms. Morris takes over from Beth Stautberg, senior vice president of legal and public affairs, who was serving as interim chief HR officer.
