Hammond-Henry Hospital CEO Jeff Lingerfelt resigns: 4 things to know

Geneseo, Ill.-based Hammond-Henry Hospital CEO Jeff Lingerfelt announced his resignation, effective July 28, according to a Geneseo Republic report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Lingerfelt is leaving to take on a leadership role at Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health, helping to open Adventist Health Tehachapi (Calif.) Valley Hospital.

2. He assumed the CEO role at Hammond-Henry Hospital in November 2015.

3. During his tenure, the hospital bought Regional Health Partners-Kewanee (Ill.) as well as initiated a robotic surgery program.

4. Hammond-Henry Hospital started searching for his permanent successor.
