Georgia health system taps CEO

Columbus, Ga.-based Valley Healthcare System has named Asante Hilts, DrPH, its president and CEO, according to ABC affiliate WTVM

Dr. Hilts has more than 13 years of experience in community healthcare, the news station reported. She most recently served as district program manager for the Georgia Department of Public Health. 

Dr. Hilts succeeds Sarah Lang, who recently retired after more than 28 years in the role.
