Dr. Alfonso Diaz leaving Harbin Clinic for Kindred Hospital Rome: 3 things to know

Alfonso “Al” Diaz Jr., MD, CMO of Harbin Clinic in Rome, Ga., will be leaving the organization to become CEO of Kindred Hospital Rome (Ga.), according to Northwest Georgia News.

Here are three things to know about Dr. Diaz.

1. Dr. Diaz will make the move effective Sept. 21.

2. Dr. Diaz has been a respected cardiologist and community medical leader for two decades. He has served in important roles with most of the medical entities in Rome, including Harbin Clinic, FloydMedicalCenter and RedmondRegionalMedicalCenter.

 3. “We are excited to add Dr. Diaz’s talents, perspective and passion for excellence in patient care to our committed team in Rome,” Derek Murzyn, Kindred’s regional executive director, said in the report.
