Denyse Bales-Chubb to become AdventHealth Tampa hospital CEO

Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth selected Denyse Bales-Chubb to serve as CEO of AdventHealth Tampa (Fla.) hospital, effective July 1.

Ms. Bales-Chubb is currently CEO of AdventHealth Wesley Chapel (Fla.) hospital, a role she has held since 2014. During her CEO tenure, the hospital opened AdventHealth Central Pasco ER, a 24-bed freestanding emergency department and established a partnership with Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa.

Ms. Bales-Chubb serves on the boards of the Pasco Economic Development Council and AdventHealth Zephyrhills (Fla.) hospital. She holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Wichita (Kan.) State University.

She succeeds Brian Adams, who was promoted to senior vice president for new markets for the AdventHealth Central Florida Division.
