Deborah Feldman will retire as president and CEO of Dayton (Ohio) Children’s Hospital on June 30 after nearly 14 years in the role.

Ms. Feldman joined the hospital in 2012, according to a Nov. 6 hospital news release. She led two strategic plans that contributed to transformational growth, including more than tripling revenue and increasing the number of providers by more than 500%.

She also oversaw more than $800 million in facility investments. Projects included an eight-story patient tower in 2017, a south campus expansion from 2016 to 2018, the Connor Child Health Pavilion in 2019, four new or expanded outpatient care centers, a specialty care center on the main campus in 2023, and the Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness in 2025.

Dayton Children’s will launch a national search for her successor on Nov. 7. The board of trustees expects to name the next president and CEO by late spring 2026.

Chris Bergman, vice president and CFO, also recently shared plans to retire, effective Feb. 28.
