Mr. Rothenberger’s new role includes overseeing finances at Sparks as well as Summit Medical Center in Van Buren, Ark.
Most recently, Mr. Rothenberger oversaw finances for HMA’s Division Two and Florida Group.
Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems announced July 30 that it will acquire HMA in a deal valued at $7.6 billion.
