David McEwen named CEO of DMC’s Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital

Detroit Medical Center has tapped David S. McEwen as CEO of Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Commerce Charter Township, Mich., effective March 30.

Mr. McEwan brings more than 25 years of healthcare executive experience to the role. 

He most recently was COO of Mercy Health Saint Mary’s hospital in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Before that,  he was vice president of operations for McLaren Port Huron (Mich.) hospital and served as CEO of Marlette (Mich.) Regional Hospital.

Mr. McEwan has a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Loma Linda (Calif.) University.
