Cushing Memorial Hospital Names Gary Wages Interim CEO

Gary Wages will serve as interim CEO of Cushing Memorial Hospital in Leavenworth, Kan., part of Kansas City, Mo.-based St. Luke’s Health System, according to a Leavenworth Times report.

Mr. Wages replaces outgoing CEO Ron Baker, who took a position as CEO of St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, Mo.

Currently, Mr. Wages is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He retired in 2011 as CEO of St. Luke’s Northland Hospital in Kansas City.

Hospital officials are currently searching for a permanent CEO.
