Crawford County Memorial Hospital CEO Bill Bruce to retire at year-end: 3 notes

Crawford County Memorial Hospital President and CEO Bill Bruce is retiring, effective Dec. 31.

Three notes:

1. Mr. Bruce assumed his current role at the Denison, Iowa-based hospital in April 2012.

2. Under his leadership, the hospital completed a $2 million expansion of its main campus clinic and added providers in several specialties, including orthopedics and family and child counseling.

3. Before joining Crawford County Memorial Hospital, Mr. Bruce held leadership roles at hospitals in Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois.
