Colorado Plains Medical Center selects new CEO: 5 notes

Colorado Plains Medical Center in Ft. Morgan named Kevin Zachary CEO, effective Oct. 8.

Here are five notes:

1. Mr. Zachary comes to Colorado Plains from Logan (W.Va.) Regional Medical Center, where he serves as CEO.

2. He has worked at Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health, Colorado Plains and Logan Regional’s parent, since 2011.

3. Prior to joining LifePoint, he served as COO at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant.

4. Mr. Zachary holds a master’s degree in business administration from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va.

5. He succeeds Gene O’Hara, PharmD, who is retiring.
