6 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker’s Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare expanded its Gulf Coast Division with the purchase of North Cypress Medical Center in Houston, and appointed Jim Brown, former chief development officer at the Gulf Coast Division, to be the hospital’s CEO.

2. Framingham, Mass.-based MetroWest Medical Center CEO Jeffrey Liebman resigned Aug. 10.

3. Steve Mulder, MD, president and CEO of Hutchinson (Minn.) Health, plans to retire in April 2019.

4. Kansas City, Mo.-based Saint Luke’s Health System named Steven M. Schieber interim CEO of Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, Mo.

5. John Serle, who led Pasco, Wash.-based Lourdes Health Network as CEO for the last 13 years, has stepped down after Brentwood, Tenn.-based RCCH HealthCare Partners completed its purchase of the system.

6. Maywood, Ill.-based Loyola Medicine named Shawn P. Vincent president and CEO, effective Nov. 5.
