Steven Schieber becomes Wright Memorial Hospital’s interim CEO

Kansas City, Mo.-based Saint Luke’s Health System named Steven M. Schieber interim CEO of Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, Mo.

Mr. Schieber is CEO of Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Mo. He will add the interim CEO responsibilities to his current role, providing leadership for both facilities. Both facilities are 25-bed acute care hospitals.

Mr. Schieber has served as Hedrick Medical Center CEO since September 2015. Prior to that, he was director of regional development for Saint Luke’s Health System.

With this appointment, the roles of CEO, CFO, chief nursing officer and director of human resources for both Wright Memorial and Hedrick hospitals. The consolidation of management at the facilities “creates efficiencies that strengthens the health and vitality of both institutions,” according to a statement from the hospital.
