Cleveland Clinic appoints chief investment officer

Stefan Strein, CIO of the $2.7 billion Annie E. Casey Foundation, is leaving his current position to become CIO of the $12.6 billion Cleveland Clinic Foundation, according to CIO.

Mr. Strein announced the move in a LinkedIn post on Monday, saying he will start his new position in two weeks. He has been with the Casey Foundation since 2005 and has also held positions with Tritech Partners and NextGen Capital.
