Clay County Hospital appoints interim president: 3 takeaways

Clay County Hospital in Flora, Ill., selected Denise Williams to serve as interim president, according to an Effingham Daily News report.

1. Ms. Williams has prior experience working at healthcare organizations in Nashville, Tenn., Chicago and Gary, Ind.

2. She has won numerous awards and honors over the course of her career, include the American College of Healthcare Executives’ Robert S. Hudgens Memorial Award for Young Healthcare Executive of the Year.

3. She replaces Chris Hunt, who resigned in February.
