Clay County Hospital president to resign: 3 notes

Chris Hunt, president of Flora, Ill.-based Clay County Hospital, will resign effective Feb. 8, according to Premier Broadcasting.

Here are three notes:

1. Mr. Hunt assumed his current role in December 2016.

2. He is leaving his position at Clay County Hospital to explore opportunities in graduate education.

3. St. Louis-based SSM Health, Clay County Hospital’s parent, will select an interim president during the search for a permanent replacement.
