CHS Alabama hospital taps COO

Brandon Nelson has been appointed COO of Gadsden (Ala.) Regional Medical Center.

He joins the hospital from Foley, Ala.-based Baldwin Health, where he oversaw expansion projects and hospital operations, according to a Sept. 22 LinkedIn post from Gadsden Regional. Mr. Nelson had served as assistant CEO since January 2023, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Gadsden Regional Medical Center is a 346-bed facility. It is part of Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.
