Children’s Hospital names new CMO

Children’s Hospital in New Orleans tapped George Bisset, III, MD, to serve as CMO.

Dr. Bisset is currently radiologist-in-chief at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. He is also a tenured professor of radiology at Baylor College of Medicine, also in Houston. He previously served as chief of the body imaging section at University of Cincinnati and pediatric radiology division chief at Durham, N.C.-based Duke University.

Dr. Bisset has authored 200-plus peer-reviewed publications. He is triple board certified and a past president of the Radiological Society of North America.

Children’s Hospital is a 247-bed, nonprofit regional medical center.
