Dr. Karsten will become the CEO of Phoenix-based Banner Health in northern Colorado. She has worked at Cheyenne Regional since 2013.
Patrick Madigan, chair of Cheyenne Regional’s board of trustees, will act as interim CEO until the position is filled.
