Mr. Schoell has spent 10 years with the hospital with the majority of that time spent as CEO. His departure will coincide with finalization of the hospital’s affiliation with Rochester (N.Y.) Regional Health System. As of Dec. 31, Mr. Schoell will transition to a “system integration and strategic planning role,” according to the report.

Daniel Ireland, president of the hospital, will remain in his post after Mr. Schoell’s departure while CEO duties are maintained by RRHS, according to the report.
