CEO of Danville Regional Medical Center in Virginia Resigns

Jerel Humphrey, CEO of Danville (Va.) Regional Medical Center, has resigned, according to a report by the Danville News.

Mr. Humphrey had served as CEO of the LifePoint hospital since Oct. 2007, and was the hospital’s third permanent CEO since 2005, according to the report.

A replacement CEO for the hospital is expected to be announced next week, according to the report.
