Oneonta, N.Y.-based Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care’s President and CEO Lola Rathbone plans to retire in 2017, according to a report by The Daily Star.

1. Ms. Rathbone has been with the organization for 25 years, and plans to continue as a hospice volunteer after she retires.

2. The hospice’s board of directors hired Dan Ayres as her successor.

3. Mr. Ayres most recently served as administrator of Summersville (W.Va.) Regional Medical Center.
