Darcy Craven to serve as president of 2 Kaleida Health hospitals: 5 things to know

Buffalo, N.Y.-based Kaleida Health appointed Darcy Craven president of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Williamsville, N.Y., and DeGraff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda, N.Y.

Here are five things to know:

1. Most recently, Mr. Craven served as CEO of Florence, S.C.-based Carolinas Hospital System.

2. Mr. Craven came to Carolinas Hospital System in 2010 as COO and was named CEO in 2012.

3. At Kaleida, he is succeeding Chris Lane, who was named president of Buffalo (N.Y.) General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute.

4. He will begin his new role in October.

5. Mr. Craven holds a master’s degree in business administration from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, N.C.
