Joseph Manopella has been named president of St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage, N.Y., expanding his current role within Rockville Centre, N.Y.-based Catholic Health.
Mr. Manopella will continue to serve as president of Catholic Health’s Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre, a role he has held since 2022, according to a July 30 health system news release.
At St. Joseph, he will lead initiatives to improve quality, patient experience, workforce development and employee engagement.
Before joining Catholic Health, Mr. Manopella held several leadership roles at New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health, including executive director of Long Island Jewish Valley Stream (N.Y.).
