Mr. Evans has been serving as acting CEO and administrator since October when Mike Marshall resigned from the position. Mr. Evans has been with the hospital since 1979.
Mr. Evans is a retired Army Reserve Colonel with 30 years of service.
In addition to his roles at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital, he is a member of the Alabama Hospital Association and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He has also served as chairman of the Healthcare Workers’ Compensation Fund since 2008.
