Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis, Ala., has named Arthur Evans CEO and administrator, according to the Demopolis Times.
Mr. Evans has been serving as acting CEO and administrator since October when Mike Marshall resigned from the position. Mr. Evans has been with the hospital since 1979.
Mr. Evans is a retired Army Reserve Colonel with 30 years of service.
In addition to his roles at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital, he is a member of the Alabama Hospital Association and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He has also served as chairman of the Healthcare Workers' Compensation Fund since 2008.
