Astria Regional Medical Center CEO to step down: 3 notes

Rich Robinson, CEO of Astria Regional Medical Center in Yakima, Wash., is retiring at the end of October, according to a Yakima Herald report.

Here are three notes:

1. Mr. Robinson came out of retirement in September 2018 to take on the CEO role at Astria Regional.

2. He assumed the top post at the hospital on the same day Sunnyside, Wash.-based Astria Health acquired the facility.

3. The health system said in a statement Mr. Robinson helped to, “stabilize the hospital, place it on a positive trajectory, and bring new physicians and services to Yakima and the Yakima Valley,” according to the report.
