The American Nurses Association's Membership Assembly named four new members to its nine-member board of directors, according to a June 10 release.
Here are three things to know.
1. The Vice President of the North Carolina Nurses Association — Ernest James Grant, PhD, RN — was reelected to his post as vice president.
2. The three newly elected board members include Treasurer Jennifer Mensik, PhD, RN, Arizona Nurses Association; Director-at-Large MaryLee Pakieser, MSN, RN, ANA-Michigan and Director-At-Large, Recent Graduate Amanda Buechel, BSN, RN, ANA-Illinois.
3. Terms of service are slated to begin Jan. 1, 2018.
