Here are three points:
1. Ms. Longnecker has worked at Barnes-Jewish Hospital since 20017, serving in a number of roles, including patient-care services director for oncology.
2. In her new role, she will oversee strategic planning, budgeting and operational and clinical quality at Siteman’s main location on the Washington University medical school campus as well as at three satellite locations in the St. Louis region. She also will provide oversight for the Siteman Cancer Network, an affiliation with regional medical centers.
3. She succeeds Trish Lollo, who left to take on the role of president at Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital in Creve Coeur, Mo.
