AdventHealth regional CEO steps down

Mike Murrill is stepping down as president and CEO of the AdventHealth Southeast region and its Redmond, Ga., hospital.

Mr. Murrill has helmed the Southeast region — which includes hospitals in Georgia, Kentucky and North Carolina — since June 2020. He was tapped to lead the Redmond hospital when AdventHealth acquired it that year, the health system told Becker’s

Mr. Murrill has been a leader at AdventHealth for 20 years, the health system said. It did not specify a reason for his departure. 

Moving forward, separate CEOs will be named to the Southeast region and AdventHealth Redmond.
