AdventHealth Altamonte Springs (Fla.) has named David Goldman, DO, a long-time physician leader with the system, as chief medical officer.
Dr. Goldman, an emergency medicine physician, has worked across several AdventHealth campuses in clinical and leadership roles during his 25 years with the system, according to a Nov. 11 news release shared with Becker’s. Most recently, he served as CMO of AdventHealth Smyrna Beach (Fla.).
Dr. Goldman’s latest appointment marks a return to AdventHealth Altamonte Springs campus, where he started his medical career. As CMO, he will oversee efforts to improve quality, safety and patient experience as the hospital expands its service lines.
