Mr. Rasmussen most recently served as CEO for Russell County Hospital in Kentucky. That hospital changed management firms and left Mr. Rasmussen available for this position, according to the report.
The Adair County Hospital District’s former CEO was provided by Spectrum Health Partners. Spectrum Health Partners recently resigned from a contract with Adair County Hospital District that provided the CEO.
Mr. Rasmussen took over the position on Aug. 27.
