Bangor, Maine-based Northern Light Acadia Hospital named Charmaine Patel, MD, senior physician executive.
She had served as medical director of adult inpatient services at Acadia since 2018, according to a July 1 system news release.
Before joining Acadia in 2016, Dr. Patel held positions at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Vermont State Hospital in Waterbury and Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.
