From Novant bolstering its team to the retirement of a Memorial Hermann leader, here are 10 revenue cycle leadership moves Becker’s reported in January:
1. Chris Johnson, vice president of revenue cycle management at Charlotte, N.C.-based Atrium Health, retired Jan. 3 after more than 46 years in the field. Mr. Johnson served as Atrium’s vice president of revenue cycle management – regional facilities since April 2007.
2. Marysville, Ohio-based Memorial Health named Laura Lay senior director of revenue cycle. Ms. Lay joins Memorial Health from Norwalk, Ohio-based Fisher-Titus Medical Center, where she served as vice president of revenue cycle.
3. St. Louis-based Ascension named Sarah Cole vice president of national net revenue management. She succeeds Dawn Davidson, who is retiring on June 30.
4. Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic appointed Todd Manion chair of revenue cycle for the health system. Mr. Manion succeeds Sharon Kelley, who left Mayo Clinic effective Jan. 3, after nearly four years with the health system.
5. Charlotte, N.C.-based Novant Health named Misty Brackett vice president of consolidated business office. Ms. Brackett joins Novant from Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System, where she served as vice president of revenue cycle.
6. Novant Health named Arjun Bhatia vice president of revenue cycle transformation. Mr. Bhatia joins Novant from Marietta, Ga.-based Wellstar Health System, where he served as assistant vice president of revenue cycle.
7. Winchester, Va.-based Valley Health named Craig Connors vice president of revenue cycle and payer relations. Mr. Connors joins the health system from the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association, where he served as senior director of payer relations.
8. Reno, Nev.-based Renown Health named Amanda de los Reyes vice president of revenue cycle. She joins the health system from Valleywise Health, where she served as vice president of revenue cycle.
9. Rick Lyman retired Jan. 1 from his role as senior vice president of enterprise revenue cycle management at Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System.
10. Erlanger named Chris Spady senior vice president of revenue cycle. Mr. Spady returns to Erlanger after serving as Southeast Division vice president of revenue cycle for Chicago-based CommonSpirit.
