8 latest hospital, health system executive retirements

Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive retirements in the last four weeks.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Gene Faile, president of North Wilkesboro, N.C.-based Wilkes Medical Center, will retire Jan. 31.

2. Camden, N.J.-based Cooper University Health Care CEO and Executive Chairman Adrienne Kirby is retiring, effective June 1.

3. Marie Knedler, BSN, MSN, president of CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs (Iowa), is retiring in February.

4. Paul LaCasse, DO, executive vice president of post-acute care and diversified business operations of Royal Oak, Mich.-based Beaumont Health, is retiring March 31.

5. John Lloyd, co-CEO of Edison, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Health, retired.

6. Callaway (Neb.) District Hospital CEO Marvin Neth retired.

7. Coudersport, Pa.-based UPMC Cole President and CEO Ed Pitchford plans to retire in March.

8. Joseph P. Ross, president and CEO of Hagerstown, Md.-based Meritus Health, retired.
