8 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker’s Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Jessica Long, CEO of CHI Memorial Hospital Georgia in Fort Oglethorpe, is resigning, effective April 6.

2. San Ramon (Calif.) Regional Medical Center selected Ann Lucena to serve as CEO, effective April 23.

3. Robert Malte, CEO of Kirkland, Wash.-based EvergreenHealth, is planning to retire by the end of 2018.

4. San Diego-based Sharp HealthCare President and CEO Michael W. Murphy plans to retire Feb. 28, 2019.

5. Morgantown, W.Va.-based Mon Health selected Thomas Senker to serve as interim CEO, effective April 5.

6. Sparrow Health System President and CEO Dennis Swan plans to retire on or before Oct. 1.

7. Flagstaff-based Northern Arizona Healthcare President and CEO Rob Thames resigned March 26.

8. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health selected Jonathan E. Watkins to serve as CEO of Broward Health Imperial Point in Fort Lauderdale.
