7 recent hospital, health system CNO and CMO moves

The following seven hospital and health system CNO and CMO moves occurred or were announced in the last month, starting with the most recent.

1. Guthrie, a hospital system based in Sayre, Pa., named Catherine Mohr, DNP, MSN, BSN, RN, as the systemwide CNO.

2. Greensboro, N.C.-based Cone Health chose Kenneth Rempher, PhD, MSN, BSN, RN, as its executive vice president and chief nurse executive, effective Aug. 22.

3. Tooba Kazmi, MD, became CMO of Memorial Hospital of Martinsville (Va.) and Henry County, which is part of Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health.

4. Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital appointed Susan Okuno-Jones, DNP, MSN, BSN, RN, as vice president of patient care services and chief nurse executive.

5. Thomas Tracy Jr., MD, will become CMO of Penn State Milton S. Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center on Aug. 15.

6. Titusville (Pa.) Area Hospital promoted Brenda Burnett, RN, from director of nursing to vice president of patient care services and CNO, effective July 1.

7. Conroe (Texas) Medical Center named Mujtaba Ali-Khan, DO, as its first-ever CMO.
