Titusville Area Hospital promotes director of nursing to CNO: 3 things to know

Titusville (Pa.) Area Hospital has promoted Brenda Burnett, RN, from director of nursing to vice president of patient care services and CNO, effective July 1, according to a Meadville Tribune report.

Here are three things to know about Ms. Burnett.

1. Ms. Burnett has held various roles at TAH, including staff nurse, infection preventionist and department head of purchasing, central sterile and utilization review. She has served as director of nursing since 2001.

2. In her new role, she will replace Linda Harris, the hospital’s current vice president of patient care services, who is retiring.

3. Ms. Burnett will assume Ms. Harris’ departmental responsibilities and maintain her current role as chief nurse.
