6 latest hospital, health system executive resignations

Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following latest hospital and health system executive resignations.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. José Baselga, MD, PhD, medical oncologist, physician-in-chief and CMO of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, resigned after reports surfaced claiming he failed to disclose significant financial ties to the drug industry and other healthcare companies in more than 100 research articles.

2. Pueblo, Colo.-based Parkview Medical Center CEO Mike Baxter plans to depart from the role, effective in February 2019.

3. Maggie Gill is leaving her role as CEO of Culpeper, Va.-based Novant Health UVA Health System after only a year to assume multiple leadership positions in Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare's Florida operations.

4. William Jennings will leave his positions as president and CEO of Bridgeport (Conn.) Hospital.

5. Chuck Nelson, Upper Peninsula regional CEO at Wausau, Wis.-based Aspirus, left the role for a new opportunity outside of healthcare.

6. Pamela Robertson, president and CEO of Kalispell (Mont.) Regional Healthcare, is resigning Nov. 30.
