6 latest hospital CNO, CMO moves

The followings six hospital, health system and government agency CNO and CMO moves were covered by Becker’s Hospital Review in the last month, starting with the most recent.

1. Placentia-Linda Hospital in Placentia, Calif., named Nancy E. Lee, BSN, as CNO.

2. Fairfield, Calif.-based NorthBay Healthcare named Traci Duncan, DNP, as vice president and CNO.

3. The New York City Health and Hospitals Corp. named Balvindar S. Sareen, MD, as CMO of HHC Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx. Dr. Sareen is board certified in internal medicine, palliative care and hospice medicine.

4. Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, Calif., chose its CMO, Clint Purvance, MD, to become president and CEO of the health system. Dr. Purvance is board certified in emergency medicine.

5. The Office of the National Coordinator of Health IT named Rebecca Freeman, RN, as the new CNO of the agency.

6. Aaron Crum, MD, was named CMO of Pikeville (Ky.) Medical Center. Dr. Crum is an OB/GYN.
