ONC appoints Rebecca Freeman CNO

The Office of the National Coordinator of Health IT has named Rebecca Freeman, RN, as the agency’s new CNO.

Ms. Freeman most recently was assistant vice president and “Epic Nurse Champion at Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America. Prior, she was CNIO and manager of the nursing informatics program at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
