5 latest hospital CNO, CMO moves

The following five hospital and health system CNO and CMO moves were covered by Becker’s Hospital Review in the last three weeks, starting with the most recent.

1. Kennewick, Wash.-based Trios Health appointed Brenda Atencio, MSN, as CNO. She had served in an interim capacity since April.

2. Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa, hired Erin Muck, BSN, as CNO. She has nearly 20 years of healthcare experience.

3. Patricia “Pidge” Gooch, RN, was named CNO of Kaiser Permanente in the Central Valley, a region including two hospitals in Modesto and Manteca, Calif.

4. Gainesville-based North Florida Regional Medical Center named Natalie Ransom, BSN, as CNO. In addition to her bachelor’s in nursing, Ms. Ransom holds a master’s degree in nursing administration and is pursuing a doctorate in nursing practice.

5. Summa Health System hired Matthew Wayne, MD, as CMO of its accountable care organization, NewHealth Collaborative, and its employed physician group, Summa Physicians.
