North Florida Regional Medical Center names CNO: 4 things to know

Gainesville-based North Florida Regional Medical Center has named Natalie Ransom CNO.

Here are four things to know about Ms. Ransom.

1. Ms. Ransom started her nursing career in 1997 as a student nurse tech at North Florida Regional and later became a registered nurse and clinical coordinator and director of medical/surgical services, according to the hospital.

2. Ms. Ransom was most recently CNO at Mountain ViewHospital in Las Vegas.

3. Ms. Ransom is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, an AONE-certified executive in nursing practice and a member of the AmericanCollege of Healthcare Executives.

4. Ms. Ransom earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in nursing administration. She is pursuing a doctorate in nursing practice.
